Women's Auxiliary

St. Francis Country House began in 1913, and a small group of dedicated ladies known as the St. Francis Country House Women's Auxiliary assisted with raising funds through various social events, such as a country fair and supper on the grounds with entertainment by the "Juniors" of the Auxiliary.

Today the Women's Auxiliary has 120 members, some of whom are descendents of original auxiliary members. Three main annual functions - the Golden Ball, Spring Fling and End-of-Summer Cocktail Party - are major fundraisers for the purpose of providing enhancements and improvements to St. Francis Country House. The addition of the San Damiano Room and outdoor patio in 2004 and resident activities and special events is the latest testimony to the SFCH Women's Auxiliary dedication.

Volunteers

Separate from the Women's Auxiliary are our Volunteers. These individuals visit regularly to assist the residents to Mass and activities, help write letters or be a friendly companion. They are very dedicated and an important part of daily life at St. Francis Country House.
