Social Activities
The Therapeutic Recreation Department of St. Francis Country House provides opportunities for social and recreational engagements. Residents have a variety of fun, entertaining, social and cultural activities from which to choose, whether it's the weekly cocktail parties, cooking demonstrations, the all-time favorite pastime of Bingo or participating in inter-generational programming. There is always something for everyone! Outings to local theatre, sporting events, shopping malls or neighborhood restaurants are offered regularly.
Special fun-filled events and joyful holiday activities are celebrated throughout the year and enjoyed by the residents. The annual Captain's Ball, the Thanksgiving Day Dinner, Christmas parties and the grand favorite, the annual Resident Picnic, are a few of the highlights..
